Macaroni and Cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cup warm milk
- 1 dash pepper
- 1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 12 oz cheddar cheese
- 8 oz macaroni elbows
- Preheat over to 350F.
- Boil all of the macaroni and drain.
- In heavy saucepan over low heat, melt butter
- Add flour and stir until flour and butter are well mixed.
- Gradually stir in the warm milk.
- Turn up heat and stir milk until it reaches boiling point.
- Turn down to simmering point and add in pepper and pepper sauce.
- Add heavy cream and turn up to simmering point.
- Stir in 3\ worth of cheese until melted.
- Mix cheese and macaroni into a 2 qt greased dish and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
