Tomato Filled Quiche Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. Ragu Italian cooking sauce
- 2 tbsp. white wine
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust
- 1 c. grated Swiss cheese (1/4 lb.)
- 3 Large eggs
- 3/4 c. medium cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- healthy pinch nutmeg, sugar, pepper">cayenne pepper and white pepper
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Mix Ragu Italian cooking sauce and wine.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Top with grated cheese.
- Beat Large eggs with cream and seasonings and pour over cheese.
- Bake for 15 min.
- Turn oven to 300 degrees and continue to bake for 55 min or possibly till a silver knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let sit 5 min.
- Serves 4 as a main dish, 8 as an appetizer.
