Microwave Sweet And Sour Meatballs Recipe

  1. Combine meat, egg, 1/4 c. onion, salt and pepper in bowl.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Shape mix into 24 meatballs.
  4. Place in 12x8-inch glass baking dish.
  5. Microwave at HIGH 2 min.
  6. Turn meatballs over and rearrange.
  7. Microwave at HIGH 2 min, or possibly till hard.
  8. Pour off excess fat.
  9. Cover with waxed paper and let set.
  10. Combine 1/4 c. onion and butter in 1 1/2-qt glass casserole.
  11. Microwave at HIGH 3 min, or possibly till onion is tender.
  12. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  13. Microwave at HIGH 3 min, or possibly till warm.
  14. Pour sauce over meatballs.
  15. Serve with warm rice.
  16. Serves 4.
  17. An alternative to a main dish meal is to serve these meatballs as an appetizer.
