Chicken Cacciatore

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large Dutch oven, stirring well.
  2. Add chicken.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 1 hour or until chicken is tender.
  5. Add Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to sauce.
  6. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
  7. Serve over fettucine or egg noodles.
  8. Yields 6 servings (397 calories per serving).
