Bread Pudding With Whiskey Sauce Recipe
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 4 c. day old French bread cubes, 1/2 inch pcs
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
- Whiskey Sauce
- Scald lowfat milk.
- Put bread cubes in a large bowl; pour lowfat milk over bread cubes.
- Cold.
- Add in butter, sugar, Large eggs, salt, raisins, and cinnamon; mix well.
- Pour into a greased 1 1/2 qt casserole dish.
- put casserole in a pan of warm water (1 inch deep).
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till knife inserted into pudding comes out clean.
- Serve hot with Whiskey Sauce.
