Easy Chicken Divan (Charlene's Version) Recipe

  1. In pressure cooker (cook under pressure 45 min) 1 large chicken, 2 c. brown rice, 4 to 5 c. water, 1/2 c. wheat berries with 1 1/4 c. water (or possibly 1/2 c. bulgur with 1 1/2 c. water or possibly 1/2 c. wild rice with 1 c. water).
  2. Steam broccoli, carrots, string beans, snow peas (or possibly any other vegetables).
  3. Combine 1/2 c. bread crumbs, 1 Tbsp.
  4. butter, 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese and layer the cooked food in a large casserole dish like this: rice, vegetables, boned chicken, sauce, and cheese and crumb topping.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min or possibly till topping is brown.
