White Lasagna Sauce Recipe
- 3/4 c. butter
- 7 1/2 tbsp. flour
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1 c. reserved broth
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon tarragon
- 1/2 teaspoon Beau Monde
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- In large sauce pan heat butter.
- Blend in flour and cook, stirring constantly over medium heat for 3 min.
- Add in lowfat milk, cream and reserved broth, stirring constantly till mix boils and begins to thicken.
- Add in seasonings.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
