Beef Creole (Boeuf Creole)

  1. Heat lard in heavy skillet.
  2. Slowly saute meat, green pepper, onion, and celery for 10 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle with flour and blend inches.
  4. Add okra, seasonings, and tomatoes.
  5. Cook slowly for 20 minutes, or until done, stirring frequently.
