Boysenberry Lemon Ice Cream Recipe
- 2 c. Unsweetened boysenberries Fresh or possibly frzn, mashed
- 1 can Sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Grated lemon peel (opt)
- 3 c. Half & half
- In large bowl, combine boysenberries, lowfat milk, lemon juice and elmon peel.
- Stir in half & half.
- Pour into ice cream freezer container.
- Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
- Makes about 2 qts.
- NOTE: 2 c. fresh or possibly thawed frzn blueberries or possibly boysenberries, mashed, can be substituted for boysenberries.
