Celery Root Mashed Potatoes

  1. Boil celery root in large pot of salted water 5 minutes.
  2. Add potatoes and boil until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes longer.
  3. Drain well.
  4. Return potatoes and celery root to pot.
  5. Stir over medium-high heat until dry, about 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Mash vegetables until smooth.
  8. Stir in butter and enough milk to moisten.
  9. Season to taste with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
