Tangy Spare Ribs

  1. Cut ribs into serving-size pieces; place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
  2. Bake uncovered at 350F for 1 hour.
  3. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, saute onion and celery in butter for 4-5 minutes or until tender.
  4. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
  5. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
  6. Cook and stir until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from the heat.
  8. Drain fat from roasting pan.
  9. Pour sauce over ribs.
  10. Bake 1-1/2 hours longer or until meat is tender.
