Choc-Oat-Chip Cookies
- 1 c. (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
- 1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
- 2 1/2 c. uncooked rolled oats (quick or old fashioned)
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
- 1/3 c. wheat germ
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy.
- Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
- Add combine flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
- Stir in oats, chocolate chips and nuts; mix well.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
- Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.
- Cool completely.
- Makes about 5 dozen.
