Upside-Down Hershey Peach Cake(This Is Delicious With Fresh Peaches, Pears Or Pineapple.)

• 1 3/4 c. flour
• 1/2 c. cocoa
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. butter
• 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
• 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
• peach slices
• 1/4 c. maraschino cherries, halved
• 1/4 c. chopped pecans
• 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 3/4 c. buttermilk

1. Sift first 4 ingredients together in a bowl.
2. In #8 iron skillet, melt next 3 ingredients.
3. In skillet, arrange peach slices in sunburst, maraschino cherries and pecans.
4. In a bowl, blend the next 2 ingredients.
5. Add eggs, one at a time, and then vanilla.
6. Beat alternately with sifted flour mixture and the buttermilk.
7. Put batter over peach mixture and bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
