Tuna Quiche
- 1 deep dish pie crust shell
- 6 1/2 oz. can tuna, drained
- 1 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. chives
- 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- Preheat oven to 450u0b0.
- Thaw pie crust as package directs. Prick bottom and sides with fork.
- Bake on cookie sheet 5 minutes. Remove from oven.
- Distribute tuna over bottom of pastry shell. Sprinkle cheese and onion over tuna.
- Beat together eggs, milk, lemon juice and seasonings.
- Pour over tuna mixture.
- Bake on cookie sheet 15 minutes.
- Reduce oven to 350u0b0 and bake an additional 12 to 15 minutes or until top is golden.
- Serves 6.
