Microwaved Komatsuna and Apple Dome Cake

  1. Chop the apple into 1 cm cubes, then mix it with honey and lemon juice.
  2. Cover in a bowl loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 1 minute.
  3. Chop the komatsuna greens.
  4. Put all of the ingredients marked with in a blender and process.
  5. Sift the cake flour and baking powder together in a bowl, then add the blended mixture from Step 2 and stir together.
  6. Add the apple and wet ingredients from Step 1 and mix together.
  7. Line a heat resistant bowl (a porcelain bowl will work) with plastic wrap and pour in the cake batter.
  8. Microwave the bowl at 600 W for 4 minutes.
