Microwaved Komatsuna and Apple Dome Cake
- 1/4 Apple (chopped in 1 cm cubes)
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- 1/4 bundle Komatsuna greens (chopped)
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp Raw cane sugar (or regular sugar)
- 100 grams Cake flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- Chop the apple into 1 cm cubes, then mix it with honey and lemon juice.
- Cover in a bowl loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 1 minute.
- Chop the komatsuna greens.
- Put all of the ingredients marked with in a blender and process.
- Sift the cake flour and baking powder together in a bowl, then add the blended mixture from Step 2 and stir together.
- Add the apple and wet ingredients from Step 1 and mix together.
- Line a heat resistant bowl (a porcelain bowl will work) with plastic wrap and pour in the cake batter.
- Microwave the bowl at 600 W for 4 minutes.
