Soft Cooked Custard Recipe
- 2 c. scalded lowfat milk
- 2 Large eggs
- 4 tbsp. sugar
- Speck of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Beat Large eggs slightly, beating in the sugar and salt.
- Add in warm lowfat milk slowly, stirring constantly.
- Put in top of double boiler over boiling water.
- Continue to stir till thick as cream and coats the spoon.
- Strain and add in vanilla.
- Refrigeratebefore serving.
- Keep covered in refrigerator.
