Chinese Meatballs Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 3/4 c. chopped celery
- 3/4 c. finely minced almonds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ajinomoto
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. veg. oil
- Pineapple sauce (recipe follows)
- Combine beef, celery, almonds, garlic and salt.
- Mix well.
- Add in crumbs, soy sauce, ajinomoto, and Large eggs; mix well.
- Shape into balls the size of walnuts.
- Roll in cornstarch.
- Heat oil in large skillet and brown meatballs on all sides till thoroughly cooked.
- Serve with pineapple sauce.
