Chicken Hot Dish
- Pepperidge Farm stuffing (7 oz. pkg.)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. hot water
- 2 1/2 c. cooked chicken or turkey
- 1/2 c. celery, sliced
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top
- Place stuffing mix in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Pour butter and hot water over dressing.
- Saute celery and onion in 1 tablespoon butter.
- Spread chicken or turkey, celery and onion over stuffing. Beat eggs and milk.
- Pour over everything.
- Spread mayonnaise over everything.
- Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight. Remove 1 hour before baking, removing Saran Wrap.
- Spread 1 can cream of chicken soup over all.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 minutes.
