Ten Minute Shepherd's Pie Recipe

  1. Combine beef stew with green beans, carrots and onions in a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix prepared mashed potatoes with cheese and egg in a small bowl; beat well.
  3. Spread all but 1 c. of the potato mix proportionately over the stew mix in the pan.
  4. Pipe rosettes of potatoes around border of pan (if you like) with remaining 1 c..
  5. Bake in 375 degree oven for 50 min or possibly till potatoes are golden.
  6. Remove from oven.
  7. Let stand 10 min.
  8. Serves 6.
