Deep Fried Tofu and Bean Sprout with Sesame Seed Sauce
- 1 Aburaage
- 1 packet Bean sprouts
- 2 tbsp Ground sesame seeds (white)
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Sake
- Combine the ingredients in a bowl.
- Remove excess oil from the aburaage by soaking in hot water, then draining it, and toast both sides in a toaster oven until golden brown.
- Slice into 7 to 8 mm thick.
- Braise bean sprouts briskly in hot water, or heat in microwave, then drain excess water.
- Add the aburaage and bean sprouts to the bowl from Step 1, toss well, and serve.
