Chicken Ala King

  1. Cook and stir mushrooms and green pepper in margarine over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
  4. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is bubbly; remove from heat.
  5. Stir in instant bouillon, milk, water and reserved mushroom liquid.
  6. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  7. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  8. Stir in chicken and pimento; heat through.
  9. Makes 6 servings.
  10. Serve over toast, hot mashed potatoes, waffles, cooked rice or noodles.
