Sauteed Mushrooms
- 1 package white button mushrooms
- 1 small onion, sliced thinly
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) butter or margarine
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) Worchestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) lemon or lime juice
- dash of salt and pepper each
- Slice mushrooms and onions and set aside.
- In a small skillet place butter, onions and mushrooms and saute gently for 1 minute turning often.
- then add worchestershire sauce and lemon juice.
- Stir well.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook until mushrooms are done to your desired texture.
