Brown Rice Peach Crisp Recipe
- 3 c. Cooked brown rice
- 1 can (29-ounce) canned peach slices, liquid removed, cut in chunks
- 1/2 c. Honey, divided
- 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp Grnd nutmeg
- 1/4 c. Butter
- 1/3 c. Minced walnuts (optional)
- Combine rice, peaches, and 1/4 c. honey in greased 8x8x2-inch baking dish.
- Combine flour and spices in a small bowl; cut in butter till mix is crumbly.
- Sprinkle flour mix over rice; drizzle with remaining 1/4 c. honey.
- Sprinkle nuts on top, if you like.
- Bake at 350 degrees 30-35 min.
- Serve hot.
