Almond Tarator Recipe

  1. Finely grind almonds in processor.
  2. Add in breadcrumbs, 1/4 c. water, lemon juice and garlic and process till thick and smooth, about 2 min.
  3. With machine running, gradually add in extra virgin olive oil through feed tube.
  4. Fold in sufficient water to make thick creamy sauce.
  5. Season to taste with salt.
  6. (Can be made 2 days ahead.
  7. Cover and chill.
  8. Bring to room temperature before serving.)
  9. Makes About 2 C..
