Sour Cream Raisin Drops

  1. Place raisins in large bowl and cover with boiling water.
  2. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Set aside.
  5. In separate bowl, stir together flour, soda, powder, salt, nutmeg and cloves, set aside.
  6. In another large bowl, cream butter and sugar together.
  7. Stir in vanilla, egg and sour cream.
  8. Stir in flour mixture one cup at a time, until thoroughly mixed.
  9. Add raisins and orange peel.
  10. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto lightly greased baking sheets placing about two inches apart.
  11. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes.
