Easy Manhattan Clam Chowder Recipe
- 2 cans minced or possibly chopped clams with juice
- 6 slices bacon, minced
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 can tomatoes, minced
- 1 c. diced potatoes
- 1/2 c. diced carrots
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Fry bacon till crisp in 3 qt saucepan.
- Add in onion and cook till tender.
- Add in water, vegetables, ketchup, clams, and seasonings.
- Cover and simmer 40 to 45 min or possibly till vegetables are tender.
