Drop Yeast Rolls Recipe
- 2 c. very hot water
- 1 yeast cake or possibly 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. shortening or possibly lard
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- Dissolve yeast in water, add in sugar.
- Beat Large eggs well and add in shortening to first mix.
- Add in flour.
- Grease muffin tins and drop 2 Tbsp.
- into each space.
- Let rise 15 min, then bake at 425 degrees.
- Note: These can be refrigerated after dropping into muffin tins.
- Then let rise 15 min before baking.
