Oriental Chicken

  1. Cut chicken into thin strips.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add chicken and cook over moderate heat until meat turns white (approximately 5 minutes).
  3. Add pepper, onion, celery, chestnuts, water, salt and ginger.
  4. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Blend cornstarch and soy sauce together.
  6. Stir into chicken.
  7. Add bean sprouts and cook about 2 minutes or until thickened.
  8. Stir often. Serves 4.
