Skillet S'mores Cookie
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped coarsely
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 jar (7 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme
- 1 cup coarsely chopped PLANTERS Pecans
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- In a large bowl, stir together flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking soda, salt.
- Set aside.
- In a medium heat-resistant bowl, mix brown sugar and granulated sugar together.
- Set aside.
- Place butter in 8-inch cast iron skillet and melt over low heat.
- Once butter has melted, grab skillet by handle with oven mitt and very carefully and slowly move butter around to coat the sides.
- Pour melted butter into medium bowl containing sugars.
- Add vanilla extract and whisk all together until smooth.
- Add egg and continue to whisk.
- Pour liquid mixture into dry mixture and blend together with spatula until both are completely incorporated.
- Pour into prepared skillet and gently press it down with spatula.
- The dough will come all the way to the rim of the skillet.
- Bake in middle rack for 20 minutes.
- Carefully remove skillet from oven and let cool for 20 minutes before cutting.
- Serve immediately with a dollop of marshmallow creme and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
