cheese sauce from bechamel
- 75 grams grated cheese (cheddar)
- 40 grams butter
- 25 grams plain flour
- 425 ml cold milk
- 1 freshly grated nutmeg
- using the all-in-one method, add all ingredients except the cheese to a saucepan on a medium heat
- whisk continually until smooth and thickened.
- cook for a further 5 mjnures
- add cheese and whisk in
- use for pasta, cauliflower cheese, etc.
