Pork Chops With Vegetables
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 6 pork loin chops
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into strips
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 (10 oz.) can condensed onion soup
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
- In a large skillet, heat oil.
- Brown the pork chops, 3 at a time, on both sides and remove them from the skillet.
- Saute the green pepper for 1 minute; remove them.
- Add flour to the skillet, blending well and cook for 1 minute.
- Blend in the onion soup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Return the chops to the skillet, basting them with sauce.
- Cover and simmer until the chops are tender, about 1 hour.
- Blend in the tomatoes and green pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 5 minutes more.
- Makes 6 servings.
