Prize Winning Chili

  1. Brown meat in a large skillet and drain.
  2. Add onions, green peppers, celery, garlic, chili peppers, bay leaf.
  3. Cook 8-10 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Add tomatoes, paste, sauce, and beans.
  5. Cover just to the top with water.
  6. Cook over medium heat for 1 1/2 hours.
  7. When serving, top with finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
  8. Serves 6-8.
