Whole Roasted Broccoli with Lemon and Chiles
- 1 whole lemon, thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, thinly sliced
- 3 dried whole chiles
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 1/4 pounds broccoli
- Preheat the oven to 400.
- In a large bowl, stir together the lemon slices, oil, garlic, chiles and 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper.
- Toss the broccoli with the mixture, then transfer it to a baking sheet.
- Roast the broccoli until it is crisp-tender and the lemons are browned, 15 to 20 minutes.
