Classic Celery & Onion Stuffing/Dressing
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 cup onion
- 10 slice bread
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp sage
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 stick butter
- Preheat oven 325F.
- Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes arrange on a cookie sheet put in oven to dry out.
- Will take ab 20 mins just eyeball it.
- they should be nice and crunchy
- In a skillet melt 1 stick of butter and saute chopped celery and onion until onions clear in color.
- Once bread cubes are done put in a large bowl and mix in onion and celery.
- Also eggs and the seasonings.
- Add the chicken broth in 1/2 cup intervals.
- you want the bread cubes to soak up the broth but not be soggy
- Place mixture in small buttered casserole dish.
- Bake covered in oven on 350 for 1 hour take off cover last 15 mins.
- Enjoy!
