Coffee-Orange Fudge Cake
- 1 pkg. 2 layer-size devil's food or German chocolate cake mix
- 1 (8 oz.) carton dairy sour cream
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 1/2 c. water
- 4 eggs
- 1 (4 serving) instant chocolate fudge pudding mix
- 1/4 c. coffee liqueur
- 1 Tbsp. finely grated orange rind
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 (12 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Grease and flour a 10-inch fluted tube pan.
- In large mixer bowl combine cake mix, sour cream, oil, water, eggs, pudding mix, liqueur, orange rind and cinnamon.
- Beat with electric mixer on low speed until well blended, scraping sides of bowl constantly.
- Beat on medium speed for 4 minutes.
- Stir in chocolate pieces and pour into prepared pan.
- Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 50 or 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
- Cool on wire rack for ten minutes.
- Remove from pan and cool on rack.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.
- Makes 12 to 16 servings. Freezes well.
