Orange Sticky Finger Ribs
- 1 rack Pork Spare Ribs (3-4 Lb Rack)
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 2 cups Orange Soda
- 3/4 cups Prepared BBQ Sauce
- 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
- 2 Tablespoons Hot Sauce, Or To Taste
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Trim ribs and cut them into sections of 3 or 4 bones each.
- Season front and back of each section with salt and Montreal steak seasoning and place in a baking dish in a single layer.
- Pour just enough orange soda over the ribs so that they are half-way covered.
- Cover dish tightly with foil and bake for about 2 hours or until the meat is tender but not quite falling off the bone.
- Remove the dish from the oven and remove ribs from baking juices.
- Place on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Change the setting on your oven to broil.
- Prepare sauce by combining BBQ sauce, brown sugar, orange juice concentrate (not orange juice) and hot sauce in a small saucepan and heat on the stove over medium heat just until sugar is dissolved.
- Brush sauce over cooked ribs and place under the broiler for about 4 minutes.
- Remove from oven and brush with more sauce.
- Return to the oven and continue to cook until the sauce is bubbly and slightly charred, about 4-5 more minutes.
