Steak and Onion Tacos with Fresh Tomato Salsa
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. chipotle chili powder
- kosher salt
- 1 lb. sirloin steak
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and cook, covered, stirring occasionally, until tender, 6 to 8 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine the cumin, chili powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- Add the steak and toss to coat.
- Add the steak to the skillet with the onions, increase the heat to medium-high, and cook, tossing occasionally, until the steak is just cooked through, 3 to 4 minutes.
