Broiled Steak and Asparagus
- 1/4 cup Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil Aged Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp. cracked black pepper
- 4 small boneless beef strip loin steaks (1 lb./450 g), 1-inch thick
- 1-1/2 lb. (675 g) fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- 1/4 cup water
- Mix dressing, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and pepper in shallow dish.
- Add steak; turn to evenly coat both sides.
- Let stand 15 min.
- to marinate, turning occasionally.
- Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade.
- Place steak on rack of broiler pan.
- Broil, 6 inches from heat, 4 min.
- on each side or to medium doneness (160 degrees F).
- Let stand 5 min.
- before cutting across the grain into thin slices to serve.
- Meanwhile, place asparagus in microwaveable dish.
- Add water.
- Microwave on HIGH 4 to 5 min.
- or until asparagus is crisp-tender.
