Warm Roast Beef with Blue Cheese
- 1-1/2 cups butter
- 3 qt. onions, thinly sliced
- - salt and pepper
- 25 rolls kaiser rolls, split
- 150 slices roast beef, sliced
- 3 cups Crumbled blue cheese
- Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat.
- Add onions; cook 15 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- For each serving: Place 3 oz.
- beef, 1/2 cup onions and 2 Tbsp.
- cheese on bottom half of roll.
- Place on full sheet pan (or use 1/4 size pan for trial recipe).
- Bake at 375F for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and sandwich is hot.
- Cover with top of roll.
- Serve immediately.
