Chili Soup Recipe
- 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. lean hamburger
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 lg. green pepper, minced
- 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. red wine
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. chili pwdr
- 2 cans reg. tomatoes, minced or possibly 3 to 5 fresh peeled tomatoes
- Crumbled cooked bacon
- 16 ounce. tomato sauce
- 1 can kidney beans, including liquid
- 1 can Mexican garbanzo beans, including liquid
- 1 can pinto beans, including liquid
- Dash red pepper or possibly warm pepper sauce
- Brown hamburger with onion and green pepper.
- Drain extra fat.
- Add in other ingredients and cook over low heat two to three hrs.
- Add in crumbled bacon last 1/2 hour.
- Freezes well.
