French Toast
- 2 slice White bread (from an 8-slice loaf)
- 2 Eggs
- 100 ml Milk
- 1 dash less than 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 Vanilla extract
- 1 Powdered sugar (optional)
- Mix the egg, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract together in a bowl with a whisk.
- Cut the bread slices into 4 pieces and soak in the egg mixture for about 5 minutes.
- Melt the butter in a heated frying pan.
- Place the bread in the pan, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for about 2 minutes.
- When the bottoms have browned like in the picture, flip them and continue to cook uncovered.
- Enjoy.
- Sprinkle on some powdered sugar to taste.
