  1. Prepare hotdog in whatever fashion you preferboiling in a pot, grilling on a BBQ, or microwaving.
  2. Just ensure they have reached the proper temperature.
  3. Toast buns in the oven until golden brown, and prepare with mayonnaise and ketchup to your liking.
  4. Place cooked hotdogs in the bun, topping each with 1 tablespoon diced onion and 3 tablespoons of chopped cabbage.
  5. Top with 5 or 6 crumbled potato chips.
  6. Serve on a summer day, watching some good baseball.
  7. Trust me, you will like these.
  8. The cabbage will not over power the dish; it will add an additional texture and crunch to the dog.
