Grama's Tortillitas

  1. Cut tortillas into eighths with a sharp knife.
  2. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium high heat.
  3. Fry about a cup of tortilla wedges at a time till crisp.
  4. This take about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Remove to paper toweling to drain and sprinkle lightly with salt and chili powder.
  6. Continue until all tortilla wedges are are fried.
  7. Excellent with salsa, pico de gallo, or guacamole.
