Sticky Rice
- 500 ml water
- 150 grams Rice
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 chicken stock cube
- 1 small onion
- 1 bunch of parsley (optional)
- Add the water, stock cube, salt and onion to a medium sized pan and bring to the boil.
- wash the rice in a seperate bowl and leave in water for 5 minutes.
- drain the rice and add to the boiling water.
- cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Add more water if required.
- (optional) Add the parsley about 5 minutes before turning the hob off.
- Leave to set for 5-10 minutes.
- and serve
rice, salt, chicken, onion, parsley
