Fiery Cheese Straws
- 1 cup butter (I use salted ) or 1 cup margarine, Softened
- 34 lb sharp grated cheese (I use Extra Sharp )
- 2 cups plain flour
- 12 teaspoon salt (Use 1 tsp. Chili power instead , I use )
- salted butter, remember
- 1 cup chopped nuts (I like pecans )
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon habanero pepper, seeds and all finely chopped
- 2 cups rice, krispies
- i use 4 tbs habanaro peppers and 2 tbs juice, run the peppers thru a juicer, is the way I do it
- Cream Butter.
- Cheese,.
- * salt *.
- peppers.
- Add Flour a little at a time.
- Add Nuts and Rice Krispies.
- Mix Well.
- Roll in small balls ( About a Table spoon size ).
- put on ungreezed cookie sheet, press out with a fork * dipped in flour, if it wants to stick.
- Bake @ 350 about 20 minutes * or until Gloden Brown*.
