Mayonnaise

  1. Add the egg, mustard, salt, vinegar, and 1/4 cup of the canola oil to a blender or food processor and process until well combined.
  2. With the motor running, add the remaining oil in a slow, steady stream until all the oil has been added and the mixture is thick and creamy.
