Vanilla Butternut Cake

  1. Heat oven to

  4. grease and flour 3 pans. Have ingredients

  7. temperature.
  8. Creamtargarine and sugar thoroughly, then
  9. mix
  10. soda and salt in buttermilk until foamy, adding
  11. alternately
  12. with
  13. flour
  14. and mixing well after each addition.
  15. Add
  16. vanilla-butternut flavoring and egg yolks one at a time,
  17. mixing
  18. after each.tently fold in beaten egg whites. Bake
  19. 30 to 40 minutes.
