Wonton Soup II

  1. In large saucepan bring water to boiling.
  2. Drop wontons, one at a time, into boiling water.
  3. Simmer, uncovered, about 3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and rinse wontons with cold water.
  5. Drain thoroughly; set aside.
  6. In the same large saucepan bring the chicken broth to boiling.
  7. Add the broccoli strips, the halved mushrooms and the grated ginger root.
  8. Simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes.
  9. Add wontons and green onions to the saucepan.
  10. Heat thorough.
  11. Ladle soup into bowls.
