FAKE mashed potatoes (Turnips)

• 6 medium turnips
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 boiling water
• 1/2 cup half and half
• 1 cup butter

1. Boil water.
2. Add salt.
3. Peel and dice the turnips into small pieces.
4. Boil chunks in water until tender.
5. Drain water.
6. Add half and half as well as butter.
7. Mash chunks.
8. Add salt and pepper to taste.
