Pizzaghetti Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (30 oz.) jar chunky garden style pasta sauce (chunky mushrooms and onions)
- 1 (8 oz.) box spaghetti
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced pepperoni
- 1 pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese (3 c.)
- Brown ground beef in skillet, crumbling meat as it cooks; drain.
- Add green pepper to meat.
- Stir in pasta sauce; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cook spaghetti as directed on box; drain.
- Spread half of cooked spaghetti in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Spread half of sauce mixture over it.
- Place layer of sliced pepperoni on top of sauce.
- Cover pepperoni with half of cheese.
- Repeat to make second layer.
- Place in hot oven (375u0b0) until cheese melts or becomes lightly browned.
- Cool slightly.
- Makes 10 to 12 servings.
